William R. Montanye, of the hamlet of Wallkill, was arrested following the stop last month in the Town of Gardiner for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license and an expired inspection, Sheriff's officials said.

A further investigation found Montanye had an active warrant for failure to pay child support.

Montanye was arraigned in the Town of Ulster Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $ 5,000 cash bail or $7,500 secured bond.
